Patti J. Patterson, M.D.
Dr Patterson is a professor of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Dr. Patterson's public health career includes 12 years of experience with the Texas Department of Health, serving numerous posts including Chief of Maternal and Child Health, Executive Deputy Commissioner and Interim Commissioner of Heath. Dr. Patterson holds a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is Board certified in Pediatrics. She also has a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston. Dr. Patterson has participated in 35 medical mission trips to Central America, South America, Eastern Europe, and Africa.
